A good school is one where pupils, parents and teachers work in partnership and where the real needs of children are met in a stimulating happy environment. Good communication is also a prerequisite in developing a good relationship between parents and the school. It is hoped that this website, albeit in a small way, contributes to the development of mutual understanding and co-operation. The school was part of the Beacon School Programme (1999 - 2003) which the Government has since replaced.
Our work in Art & Display and Physical Education were particular strengths of the school and were promoted through the Beacon Programme. Since 2003 the school has been awarded Active mark Gold for its Sporting involvement and it received the Healthy School Award (2004) in 2006 we also achieved the Arts Mark Gold.
EXTENDED SCHOOL PROVISION
Our Morning Club (7.45 am - 8.45 am) operates during term time. This provision only costs £2 per child, per session, and includes a breakfast if required. Booking in advance NOT REQUIRED.
Our Stay & Play Club (3.30 pm - 6.00pm) operates during term time, includes a healthy snack and a range of child centred activities in a safe and stimulating environment.
Charges: 1st Child £6 Sibling: £5.50 per day
Full Week: 1st child £27.50 Sibling: £25
Our Stay & Play Holiday Club (8.00 am - 6.00 pm) operates during all the school holidays (except Christmas) and covers Professional Development Days.
Charges: 1st Child : £18 Sibling: £16 per day
Half-Day : 1st Child: £ 9 Sibling: £9 (no reduction)
Per week: 1st Child : £80 Sibling: £75
